The PC have now submitted their formal response to the planning application outlining our objections and comments on behalf of Baston residents and we will wait to hear once a date is set for the hearing. The consultation currently runs until 6th June 2026 and would encourage everyone to take part.

 UPDATE

Wates have now submitted a formal outline planning application and a timeline of August this year to get a planning decision.

The PC has already raised concerns and our objection to this application as it currently stands and their response can be found here.

UPDATE

Wates Development is bringing forward outline plans for around 280 new homes on land at Deeping Road in Baston, known as ‘Baston Green’.

They have commenced public consultation with the villagers and following representation by residents have agreed to extend the consultation date until the 16th February 2026.
We would encourage all residents to make their views known through completion of the Wates feedback form or via www.wates-bastongreen.co.uk if you would prefer to complete on-line.
